Sydney Sweeney Shares Her Vision for Syrn Lingerie: Empowering Women to Embrace Their Bodies
Sydney Sweeney is standing strong, unapologetically embracing her body and her choices. The acclaimed actress graces the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s “Love Issue,” released shortly after the launch of her lingerie line, Syrn.
In the interview, Sweeney stated, “This is me reclaiming my body and my narrative and using it to empower other women.” The spread features the actress in various stages of undress, conveying a bold message intended primarily for women, not for male viewers. “People will say, ‘Oh, she’s doing this for guys,’ or, ‘Oh, she’s a guy’s girl.’ But I’m like, ‘What is more girl’s girl than owning your body and doing it for yourself?’” she explained.

In her pursuit of self-empowerment, Sweeney emphasizes choice: “I want it to be their choice—the choice of the wearer—whether this is for them, for somebody else, or for a camera lens.” Through her lingerie line, she aims to inspire women to take control and feel liberated. “I want to show women that we can take back our power and fully free ourselves,” she added.
Sweeney also shared a personal anecdote about her first underwire bra, which she still owns. “I want to make bras that stay with women,” she remarked. Her line offers a range of sizes, catering to diverse body types, which she hopes will foster a sense of inclusion among her customers.
Reflecting on a previous bikini top controversy from her role in the 2023 romcom “Anyone But You,” Sweeney quipped, “I feel like I’ve had to explain how boobs work for forever now.” She noted that her line aims to create better-fitting options for women with natural curves.
As part of her promotional efforts, Sweeney has engaged in various publicity stunts and vibrant photo shoots, garnering both attention and support for her new venture, which offers bra sizes ranging from 30-38 A-DDD/F and underwear from XXS to 3X.
