His accolades also include two Academy Awards for Schindler’s List (1993) and Saving Private Ryan (1998), and numerous Emmys for productions such as Band of Brothers and Animaniacs. Most recently, he received a Tony Award for producing the 2022 Best Musical, A Strange Loop.

Becoming an EGOT winner is regarded as one of the most elusive achievements in Hollywood. To date, a total of 21 individuals have received this honor, including notable figures such as Richard Rodgers, Audrey Hepburn, and John Legend.
The term “EGOT” was introduced by actor Philip Michael Thomas in 1984, referring to awards from the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony categories. Thomas has yet to receive any of these awards, despite the popularity of the term.
The Grammy Awards are broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and can also be streamed on Paramount+.
