Spencer Boldman and Paola Andino Star in the Supernatural Thriller You Can’t Leave
Production Concludes on Supernatural Thriller ‘You Can’t Leave’
Filming has officially wrapped on the supernatural thriller You Can’t Leave, featuring Spencer Boldman from Welcome to Chippendales and Paola Andino, known for Lisa Frankenstein. Boldman also takes on the role of executive producer for the project.
The film, directed by Scott Windhauser from his own screenplay, recently completed production in Dallas, Texas. It is produced by Robert Paschall Jr., recognized for his work on The Old Way, and Austin Taylor.
Set to debut in the United States in October 2026, You Can’t Leave will also have an international digital release slated for November 2026, under the newly formed Guilder Cinema Group. Gopal Bala joins the production team, while executive producers include Antonia DeNardo, Gunnar Thelander, Thomas Bauer, Northrup Loyd, Vincent Monsaint, and Joe Roach.
The narrative follows James (Boldman), who embarks on a quest for the truth behind his sister’s mysterious disappearance. Alongside friends, including Olivia (Andino), he ventures deep into a remote forest, where they find themselves ensnared in a supernatural prison. As they are pursued by shadowy entities, the group grapples with both physical and psychological terror in their desperate bid for escape.
Windhauser, whose recent directorial effort was Mafia Wars featuring Tom Welling and Cam Gigandet, has a busy slate ahead. His upcoming projects include The Florist, starring Dennis Quaid and Jean Reno, as well as The Walk-In, featuring Aaron Eckhart.
Boldman, also known for his roles in Cruise and Lab Rats, is set to star in and produce a biopic about country music legend Ronnie Milsap. Andino, famed for her role in Every Witch Way, was last seen in Dexter: Original Sin.
Windhauser expressed enthusiasm about the film, stating, “This film is going to really surprise people. It’s an action-horror with deep psychological and visual suspense that will have you holding your breath the entire time. Having Spencer lead the cast gives the film an emotional anchor. Paola brings a grounded emotional core that elevates the story.”
Boldman and Andino are represented by Millennium Artists, Coast to Coast Talent Group, and Myman Greenspan.
