Banks is set to become a mother. The 37-year-old singer, known as BANKS, announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Tuesday, December 23, revealing that she is expecting her first child with husband Drew Snider. The announcement came in a video shared from her dressing room.
“I have a surprise for you guys,” she begins in the video, turning to the side to showcase her baby bump. “Baby godness coming 2026!”
Snider, a professional lacrosse player, also shared the video on his Instagram Stories, captioning it simply with a red heart.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Seattle, Washington, in August following their engagement in March 2024. Their wedding took place in a secret garden near their home, followed by a larger celebration the next evening.
“We did our vows in private before the ceremony,” Banks shared with Vogue at the time. “It was such a special moment, and I’m glad we kept it to just us.”
The couple first met in 2019 when Snider initially reached out to Banks via direct message on Instagram. Following some online exchanges, she invited him backstage at one of her concerts in Seattle. Reflecting on their first encounter, Banks remarked, “By the end of the night, I was intrigued and had a crush.”
