Investigation Underway After Shooting in Van Nuys
LOS ANGELES – Authorities are actively investigating a late-night shooting that occurred outside an apartment complex in Van Nuys. A man was shot late Sunday, but police report he is currently in stable condition.
The incident unfolded around 11:50 p.m. when the victim had just parked and exited his vehicle. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two male suspects approached him while wearing ski masks. Following a confrontation, one of the suspects drew a firearm and shot the victim.
Emergency services transported the injured man to a local hospital. He is said to be recovering.
As of Monday morning, no arrests have been made, and police have not provided descriptions of the suspects or their getaway vehicle. The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
