Shia LaBeouf Talks About His Relationship with Mia Goth Following Their Recent Breakup
Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth Confirm Separation After Nearly a Decade
Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth have officially parted ways after nearly ten years of marriage. In a recent interview with YouTube’s Channel 5 With Andrew Callaghan, LaBeouf shared insights into their current relationship dynamics as co-parents to their daughter, Isabel, born in 2022.
Addressing rumors of a potential reconciliation, LaBeouf was clear about the status of their relationship. “We’re good as is," he affirmed. “We’re in a good spot. I mean, this isn’t new. It’s new for you guys but we’ve been there for a while.”
Reports suggest the couple has been separated for almost a year, marking another chapter in their tumultuous history. They previously experienced a breakup in 2018, but reconciled in 2020. The couple now navigates the challenges of co-parenting, with LaBeouf expressing gratitude for Goth’s support. “She’s a good girl. Even through all this, she gives me grace. I still talk to my kid twice a day,” he noted.
After their split, LaBeouf relocated to New Orleans to be closer to family, while Goth and their daughter remain in Pasadena, California.
Adding to the challenges surrounding their separation, LaBeouf was arrested on February 17 during Mardi Gras celebrations, facing two charges of battery.
The couple’s relationship has been marked by public conflict; following their wedding in 2016, LaBeouf entered court-ordered rehab in late 2017, which contributed to their initial breakup. Afterward, LaBeouf briefly dated FKA Twigs, who later accused him of abuse, leading to a settled lawsuit in 2021.
As both navigate this new chapter, their focus appears to remain on ensuring a stable environment for their daughter amidst personal challenges.
