Recent email exchanges between Sarah Ferguson and Jeffrey Epstein reveal the former Duchess extending her congratulations to the convicted sex offender for allegedly having a “baby boy.” These communications were disclosed in a new batch of documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice.
In a message dated September 21, 2011, Ferguson claimed to have just learned of Epstein’s rumored paternal status. Although the sender’s information has been redacted, one message is signed “Sarah” and references “The Duke,” hinting at her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.

Ferguson and Prince Andrew were married from 1986 until 1996 and share two daughters, Princess Beatrice, 37, and Princess Eugenie, 35. In the email, Ferguson stated, “Don’t know if you are still on this bbm [BlackBerry Messenger] but heard from The Duke that you have had a baby boy,” adding, “Even though you never kept in touch, I still am here with love, friendship and congratulations [sic] on your baby boy. Sarah xx.”
Eight minutes later, Ferguson sent a follow-up email expressing her confusion about their friendship, stating, “You have disappeared. I did not even know you were having a baby. It was sooooo crystal clear to me that you were only friends with me to get to Andrew. And that really hurt me deeply. More than you will know.”
A representative for Ferguson declined to comment on the emails when reached for further information. Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, asserted to Business Insider that Jeffrey Epstein did not have any children, suggesting, “If Jeff had a kid, I think I would have known.”
This correspondence is not the only exchange between Ferguson and Epstein. In a message dated January 30, 2010, she praised Epstein, stating, “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness.”

Ferguson went on to state, “Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.” In another email that year, upon discussing a potential trip to New York, she humorously replied, “Not sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!”
These emails were sent after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute. He was arrested again in July 2019 on allegations of sexually abusing minors and died by suicide while awaiting trial on federal charges a month later.
Recently, Epstein’s survivors released a statement claiming the disclosure of information related to him was incomplete, demanding full accountability and the public release of related files. Furthermore, Prince Andrew faced scrutiny over his previous relationship with Epstein, leading to the loss of his royal titles last fall. Ferguson also lost several patronage roles following reports of her apologizing to Epstein for disowning him during a 2011 interview.
