Following her collaboration with Madonna, pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter recently teamed up with another music icon, Stevie Nicks. Fans are eager to discover who else Carpenter might duet with this year.
Carpenter provided a glimpse into her experience at the Met Gala with a carousel of photos shared on Instagram on May 6. Among the highlights were two striking outfits not seen on the red carpet. One featured a Versace dress adorned with Andy Warhol’s iconic pop art of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, while the other was a golden fringe gown by Bob Mackie, worn during her performance with the legendary Nicks.
In her post, Carpenter shared a touching moment captured in a photo where she and Nicks held hands while posing for the camera. A video clip showcased their duet of Fleetwood Mac’s Billboard Hot 100 classic “Landslide,” a song that re-entered the chart at No. 41 in January 2026, more than 50 years after its original release, thanks in part to its feature in the finale of Stranger Things.
Expressing her gratitude, Carpenter thanked Anna Wintour, Vogue, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art for her attendance at the gala, emphasizing the new friendship she formed with Nicks. “Singing together healed many things in me!” she wrote, addressing Nicks directly.
Acknowledging the designers behind her “legendary dresses,” Carpenter also extended her appreciation to her team members, including film director Baz Luhrmann, creative director and choreographer Jasmine Badie, Vogue’s entertainment director Sergio Kletnoy, and creative agency founder Keith Baptista, for their support.
In addition to performing at the event, Carpenter played a significant role on the Met Gala’s host committee, collaborating with fellow artists such as Teyana Taylor, Doja Cat, and Sam Smith.
