Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown, and Shylo Molina Join the Cast of CBS Pilot ‘Eternally Yours’
CBS has finalized its regular cast for the upcoming single-camera comedy pilot, Eternally Yours. Joining the ensemble are Rose Abdoo, known for her role in Hacks, Tristan Michael Brown from Pretty Freakin’ Scary, and Shylo Molina of The Afterparty. The pilot is helmed by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, showrunners and executive producers of the popular CBS series Ghosts, along with Trent O’Donnell, who will also direct and executive produce.
Eternally Yours explores the timeless love story of two vampires, Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz (Allegra Edwards), who have been married for 500 years. The narrative delves into their challenges as they navigate the complexities of their daughter Emma’s (Helen J Shen) romantic entanglement with a human.
Abdoo will portray Phyllis, who fell in love with her husband Jesse (Parker Young) in 1985, unaware that she shares her home with a family of vampires. Over the years, Phyllis has given birth to half-vampire twins, Mort and Henry, and while she can now pass for Jesse’s mother, her mental state is strained by repeated efforts to erase her memories of their vampiric life.
Brown takes on the role of Mort, one of the half-vampire twins. He grapples with feelings of inferiority compared to his brother, Henry, and possesses the meager ability to read their family dog’s mind. Despite his challenges, Mort remains determined to pursue his aspiration of becoming a stand-up comedian.
Molina will portray Henry, the other half of the fraternal twins. His striking good looks, reminiscent of a young Robert Pattinson, make him a standout, yet he carries the weight of the world’s troubles. Gifted with super strength and speed, he struggles to cope with life’s profound challenges.
Executive producers include Port, Wiseman, and O’Donnell, along with Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, and Jason Wang. CBS Studios is producing the pilot, with filming expected to commence shortly.
Abdoo is represented by Silvera Arougheti Entertainment Group and Innovative Artists. Brown is repped by Firestarter Entertainment, while Molina is represented by Mitchell & Associates Talent and TalentWorks.
