Rory Kennedy’s Boeing Documentary Sequel Set to Premiere on Netflix: A Thought-Provoking Look from Within
EXCLUSIVE: Amid rising fuel prices and airfares linked to the escalating conflict between the United States and Iran, Netflix and Imagine Documentaries have announced a new project from Rory Kennedy, the follow-up to her acclaimed film, Downfall: The Case Against Boeing.

The film, titled Freefall: A Reckoning for Boeing, promises to unveil a disturbing reality through the personal accounts of employees who have risked everything to expose issues within the industry, as well as the struggles faced by families challenging one of the most powerful corporations in the world, according to Kennedy.

The upcoming documentary is penned by Mark Bailey, with production led by Moxie Films and Imagine Documentaries, featuring executive producers Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. Producers include Kennedy, Bailey, Viva Van Loock, Sara Bernstein, Justin Wilkes, and Alexandra Korba.
Kennedy’s most recent work prior to this was Queen of Chess, which premiered at January’s Sundance Film Festival. Notably, she participated in the documentary The Trial of Alec Baldwin. This year, alongside talents like Amy Redford, Drew Goddard, Adele Lim, and Cord Jefferson, Kennedy is slated to join a panel at the Milken Global Conference on Wednesday.
