Rob Eric and Ramy Romany Join WME Following the Launch of From The Creators Productions
EXCLUSIVE: Rob Eric and Ramy Romany Launch New Production Ventures
Last year, Rob Eric, former Chief Creative Officer at Queer Eye producer Scout Productions, and Ramy Romany, director of Bachelor in Paradise, unveiled their new company, From The Creators Productions.
The duo has since partnered with WME, securing representation across all areas. Their collaboration builds on their prior work together on HBO Max’s The Hype, a streetwear competition series that spanned two seasons and was hosted by Speedy Morman.
From The Creators Productions specializes in large-scale competition and dating formats. Recently, the company sold its first series into development at Hulu and has initiated partnerships with several production companies. Collaborations include multiple projects with Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort and a social experiment competition series in development alongside Project Runway producer Alfred Street.
In addition to these projects, Eric and Romany are developing branded "micro-series." Eric is also collaborating with stylist Law Roach to expand his global brand across product lines and related ventures.
Eric has a robust background in production, having executive produced ten seasons of Queer Eye and directed its final season. His credits extend to notable series such as Legendary (HBO Max), Merpeople (Netflix), Southern Fried Lies (Oxygen), and The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning (Peacock).
Romany’s directing portfolio includes Bachelor in Paradise and Project Runway on Hulu, as well as the reboot of American Gladiators for Amazon.
