Rihanna and ASAP Rocky once again captured the spotlight at the 2026 Met Gala, held on May 4 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The Grammy Award-winning singer, 38, embraced the "Costume Art" theme with striking fashion choices.
Arriving fashionably late, Rihanna wore a stunning crystalized turtleneck accompanied by a metallic skirt that featured a striking spherical design enveloping her figure. As she posed alongside Rocky, 37, the couple radiated joy, a picture of love and connection, complemented by Rihanna’s gold headpiece and sparkling makeup, which included diamond accents near her eyes.
Rocky matched her elegance in a tuxedo paired with a soft pink coat, eliciting smiles from the couple as they posed for the cameras.
Rihanna, a seasoned Met Gala attendee who has participated in eight events since her debut in 2007, has established herself as a fashion icon at the gala. Notable past appearances include her dramatic yellow coat-dress in 2015 and her papal-inspired look by John Galliano in 2018.
The 2025 gala marked a special moment for Rihanna, as she showcased her baby bump in a Marc Jacobs ensemble while announcing her third pregnancy with Rocky. The couple, already parents to sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, welcomed their daughter, Rocki, in September 2025. Recently, Rocki made her magazine cover debut alongside her mother for W magazine.

However, the couple’s recent joy was somewhat overshadowed by a traumatic incident in March when multiple gunshots were fired at their Beverly Hills home. Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, was arrested and charged with serious offenses, including attempted murder, after the shooting. Ortiz has pleaded not guilty and faces life in prison if convicted. As of now, Rihanna and Rocky have not publicly commented on this distressing event.
