Regina Hall Teams Up with Adam Driver in New Netflix Thriller Series ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’
Regina Hall to Star in Netflix’s Hostage Thriller ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’ Alongside Adam Driver
Regina Hall is set to co-star with Adam Driver in Netflix’s upcoming hostage thriller series, Rabbit, Rabbit. The series, which features creator and showrunner Peter Craig, director Philip Barantini, and MRC, promises a gripping narrative centered around a tense standoff.
In Rabbit, Rabbit, Driver plays J-Will, an escaped convict who takes hostages after being cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop. The situation quickly evolves into a chaotic social experiment and a high-stakes emotional confrontation with Hall’s character, a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator skilled in "tactical empathy."
Hall portrays Poppy, a retired FBI supervisory special agent called back into action despite her short patience for nonsense. As J-Will’s external counterpart, she is uniquely positioned to challenge his intellect and confront his philosophical beliefs.
Driver will also serve as an executive producer alongside Craig and Barantini, with additional production support from Samantha Beddoe and Bryan Unkeless through their respective production banners—It’s All Made Up Productions and Night Owl Stories. The series is a product of the first-look deal MRC has with Craig and Night Owl Stories.
Hall recently appeared in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Oscar-nominated film One Battle After Another, earning multiple awards and nominations, including recognition for Best Supporting Actress by the NAACP and a Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the film’s ensemble. Upcoming projects for Hall include Scary Movie 6 and the Peacock series The Five Star Weekend.
