Rachel Zoe Shares Insights on Mauricio Umansky’s New Chapter
During the recent reunion episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) Season 15, fashion designer Rachel Zoe offered her perspective on Mauricio Umansky’s life as a single man. The episode aired on April 30.
“He’s living a very different life,” said Zoe, 54, reflecting on Umansky’s post-separation experience. The discussion arose when host Andy Cohen prompted fellow cast member Kyle Richards about her feelings during an Aspen party, where she noted discomfort regarding Umansky’s behavior.
“I think for a second he forgot that I had been his wife for 30 years — even though we’re separated,” Richards, 57, remarked, describing her experience of witnessing Umansky embrace his single life.
Zoe echoed Richards’ sentiments, stating that the situation was “not great” and referred to it as an “awful” experience.
In July 2023, Richards and Umansky publicly announced their separation. Though divorce has not yet been filed, Richards mentioned that it has been a topic of discussion, admitting to Cohen that the prospect of divorce is daunting for her.
Rachel then turned to Kathy Hilton, making additional remarks about Umansky’s lifestyle. “He lives a totally different life,” she reiterated, explaining that she frequently sees Umansky, noting, “I see him everywhere.”
Zoe herself is in the midst of a divorce from Rodger Berman, with whom she separated in September 2024. Earlier this season, she revealed that others have attempted to set her up with Umansky. “Kyle, I saw Mau in Aspen,” Zoe recounted in a December 2025 episode. “Someone tried to set me up with him. Three people in one night at one event,” she added, expressing disbelief at the notion, considering him Kyle’s ex-husband.
The conversation reflected the intertwined lives of these reality stars, with Zoe commenting on the often complicated dynamics that arise when two public figures know each other.
In part one of the RHOBH Season 15 reunion, Zoe disclosed that her divorce would “soon” be finalized, revealing the emotional challenges she faced. “Some really bad things happened in real time this summer that were quite shocking, and there’s a lot that I didn’t say,” Zoe explained.
