Rachel Keller Cast in CBS Legal Drama ‘Cupertino’
Rachel Keller, known for her roles in Fargo and Tokyo Vice, has joined the cast of CBS’s upcoming legal drama Cupertino. She will star alongside Mike Colter, who was previously announced as the lead.
Set in Silicon Valley, Cupertino presents a David-versus-Goliath narrative. The series follows Michael (Colter), a lawyer who finds himself denied stock options by his former employer, a tech start-up. Undeterred, he partners with Olivia, a recently terminated attorney, to advocate for those marginalized by the tech elite and challenge the powerful forces within the industry.
Keller will portray Olivia, a recent law school graduate from the Midwest, who aligns herself with Michael to establish a law firm dedicated to taking on the tech giants.
The main cast also features Renée Elise Goldsberry as Renee, an adept opposing attorney with a complex professional and romantic history with Michael, and Ella Stiller as Christy, a young assistant at the start-up law firm central to the plot.
Robert and Michelle King, known for their work on The Good Wife and The Good Fight, will serve as writers and executive producers for Cupertino under King Size Productions. Robert King is set to direct the premiere episode, with Liz Glotzer also contributing as an executive producer.
Keller’s recent credits include a leading role opposite Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe in the HBO Max series Tokyo Vice, which was produced by Michael Mann and John Lesher. She gained prominence for her portrayal of femme fatale Simone Gerhardt in the second season of Fargo and later appeared in Legion, also created by Noah Hawley. Her other screen credits encompass Dirty John, The Society, and the Netflix film The Shadow of the Moon.
Her film appearances include A Man Called Otto, featuring Tom Hanks, the independent film Chestnut alongside Natalie Dyer, and Butcher’s Crossing with Nicholas Cage and Fred Hechinger. Keller is represented by UTA and Suskin/Karshan Management.
