Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice Share Their Feelings About Father Ex-Prince Andrew’s Epstein Comments
- Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are reportedly feeling “torn” over their father, Prince Andrew, amidst new controversies, according to royal expert Robert Jobson.
- “I know that Eugenie, especially, has found it very difficult,” Jobson stated in a recent interview with People.
- Recent revelations from the Department of Justice’s release of the Epstein Files Transparency Act appear to contradict Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s previous statements.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are grappling with complex feelings toward their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following emerging allegations concerning his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. This week, the former prince vacated his residence at Royal Lodge, igniting renewed scrutiny into his past.
Mountbatten-Windsor had previously asserted that he severed ties with Epstein in 2010. However, the Department of Justice’s latest disclosure indicates he maintained contact with Epstein as late as 2011, raising questions about the veracity of his claims.

After a widely circulated photograph surfaced, showing Mountbatten-Windsor with Virginia Giuffre, he allegedly communicated with Epstein, stating, “It would seem we are in this together and will have to rise above it!”
This new information has reportedly left Eugenie and Beatrice feeling “duped” by their father’s previous assertions.
“They are pretty torn because they believed him,” Jobson remarked to People. “Just like the late Queen and Charles, Andrew told them all the same story—that he had done nothing wrong. My understanding is they feel pretty duped by the whole thing.”

Jobson, author of the book The Windsor Legacy, emphasized that both daughters genuinely believed their father’s narrative.
“Now it has all backfired,” he added. “I know that Eugenie, especially, has found it very difficult.”
On Tuesday, the BBC reported that Prince Andrew has relocated from his home of over two decades. He is expected to temporarily stay in a property on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk and will eventually move to Marsh Farm, another residence nearby, after renovations.

The Thames Valley Police have initiated an investigation into recently uncovered allegations against Mountbatten-Windsor. This inquiry is focused on an alleged incident that took place at Royal Lodge in 2010, following the revelations from the DOJ’s new Epstein files.
