Police Report: Man Taken into Custody After Stabbing Incident in Culver City
Man Arrested in Connection with Stabbing in Culver City
A man was taken into custody after an unprovoked stabbing incident involving a motorcyclist in Culver City on Sunday evening. According to the Culver City Police Department, the stabbing occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Slauson Avenue.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the assailant approached a motorcyclist who was stopped at a red light and stabbed him before fleeing on foot. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities located the suspect, identified as 45-year-old Maurice Williams, nearby on Jefferson Boulevard. He has been booked at the Culver City Jail on a charge of attempted murder.
