In a surprising turn of events, PinkPantheress made a notable appearance on The Weakest Link this past weekend, captivating viewers with her performance on the British quiz show.
The 24-year-old artist participated in the episode aired on February 7, hosted by Romesh Ranganathan. Other contestants included comedian Harriet Kemsley and podcaster Hilary Gish Whitehall, who is also the mother of actor Jack Whitehall.
PinkPantheress demonstrated her pop culture knowledge by correctly answering questions about music icons, including Lady Gaga and Harry Styles. She impressively identified Harry Styles’ song “Music For A Sushi Restaurant,” refuting the incorrect title, “Music For A Greasy Spoon,” and accurately addressed a query regarding Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour.

During a round focused on literature, PinkPantheress humorously responded with “Chaka Khan” when asked about Shakespeare, referencing a widely shared moment from a previous episode featuring RuPaul in 2001. This amusing slip delighted fans on social media, further endearing the artist to her audience.
Viewers in the U.K. can catch the full episode on BBC iPlayer.
Just a week prior, PinkPantheress attended the Grammy ceremony for the first time as a two-time nominee. She was recognized for her work in the categories of best dance/electronic album for Fancy That and best dance pop recording for her hit “Illegal.” In an interview with Billboard, she shared her thoughts on the significance of the nominations.
“I did not expect [to be at the Grammys] at any point. I was 19 when I started making music on the internet,” she expressed. “When you start out like that, you think, ‘Is this going to translate to everyone offline? I don’t know.’ To make it here… I just never imagined it would happen.”
Released in 2025, Fancy That has quickly become a standout project, gaining acclaim in both the U.K. and the U.S. The album debuted at No. 72 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 3 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart, alongside a prestigious nomination for the Mercury Prize. Beyond her work on The Weakest Link, PinkPantheress has also engaged in various endeavors, including winning a youth chess grand slam tournament in Bromley last summer and appearing on an episode of Impractical Jokers.
