PGA Awards Delay Tonight’s Children’s and Sports Ceremony in NYC Due to Blizzard
Amid a severe bomb cyclone affecting the Northeast, the Producers Guild of America has postponed the PGA Awards ceremony scheduled for tonight in New York. The event was set to honor winners in its Children’s and Sports categories.
The announcement came as the awards ceremony will now take place on Thursday, with winners for the Short Form and PGA Innovation Awards being revealed alongside the adjusted categories. The remainder of the 2026 Producers Guild Awards will be announced on Saturday, February 28, at the Fairmont Century Plaza.
New York and several other cities are grappling with a historic storm that has brought unprecedented snowfall to the region. Many movie theaters have closed their doors, and Broadway has canceled evening performances for the second consecutive night. Additionally, some morning shows have aired without studio audiences.

This weekend, the PGA will also present career honors to three prominent figures in the industry. Jason Blum of Blumhouse will receive the Milestone Award, while Amy Pascal, known for her work on the Spider-Verse franchise, is set to receive the David O. Selznick Achievement Award. Additionally, Emmy-nominated creator-writer Mara Brock Akil, recognized for The Game and Girlfriends, will be honored with the Norman Lear Achievement Award.
