New Cast Members Join ‘The Twelve Dates of Christmas’
Penelope Ann Miller, Paul Ben-Victor, Greer Grammer, and Kahyun Kim are the latest additions to the ensemble cast of The Twelve Dates of Christmas, a holiday romantic comedy that has generated significant buzz recently.
Joining them are Demetrius Shipp Jr., Carter Jenkins, Leonidus Gulaptis, and Zack Pearlman. The film, which reunites Pretty Little Liars stars Lucy Hale and Ian Harding, is being produced by Latigo Films, BuzzFeed Studios, Applewood Studios, CaliWood Pictures, and Fortitude International.
The Twelve Dates of Christmas centers on Christina Walker, portrayed by Hale, a successful shop owner whose dedication to her career has caused her dating life to stagnate. As she watches her younger siblings marry before her, Christina vows to embark on 12 dates in the 12 weeks leading up to Christmas, hoping to find "Mr. Right." Throughout her journey, she navigates the complexities of online dating, leading to unexpected connections and personal growth that embody the true spirit of the season.
David Lipper directs the film, working from a script co-written with Seth Howard. Lipper and Robert A. Daly Jr. are producing under the Latigo Films banner, with Ryan Winterstern representing Applewood Studios. The project is in collaboration with BuzzFeed Studios, led by Richard Alan Reid and Michael Philip.
Executive producers include an extensive list of industry veterans: Jarod Einsohn, Jenkins, Casey James, Seth Howard, Jeff Kranzdorf, Tim Alek Mully, R. Wesley Sierk III, Audra Gricius, Jina Panebianco, and John D. Straley of CaliWood Pictures, along with Nadine De Barros from Fortitude International, which is overseeing international sales at EFM.
