Rock musician Paul Stanley is marking a significant milestone, celebrating two decades of marriage with his wife, Erin Sutton Stanley.
The 73-year-old KISS frontman shared a heartfelt message on Facebook to commemorate their 20th anniversary, posting a stylish photo of the couple on November 27. The picture, taken in a photo booth, appears to celebrate their milestone, complete with a watermark stating, “Erin & Paul 20 Years!”
In his post, Stanley expressed his gratitude, stating, “Erin and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. The best 24 years of my life have been with her at my side. I am truly blessed beyond all hopes or expectations.”
Stanley and Erin, an attorney, tied the knot in 2005 after a four-year courtship. They share three children: son Colin, 19, and daughters Sarah, 16, and Emily, 14. Additionally, Stanley has a son, Evan, 31, from his previous marriage to Pamela Bowen.
The couple initially met at a restaurant while Stanley was dining with a friend. Reflecting on that moment, he recalled, “At the next table were a bunch of women I knew. I was sitting at this table, and in came this woman in the restaurant. I just looked at her, and I was captivated, not in the way where I want to go home with her and end up with her or anything like that. It was, ‘I want to talk to this woman.’ I was compelled.”
After their first encounter, Stanley invited Erin to his home for dinner the following day, stating they had a “terrific, terrific time,” and he sensed a future together.

As their relationship blossomed, Stanley recognized Erin’s consistency and selflessness, saying, “Over time, Erin always showed me consistency and selflessness, but she didn’t give up any sense of her own worth. She never compromised who she was, but she was secure enough to reach out to me the times that I needed it, and it went on for years. At one point, I just thought, ‘I can’t imagine my life without her.’”
In a recent interview on Billy Corgan’s podcast, Stanley reflected on his family dynamics, acknowledging that raising children has helped him heal from a challenging childhood. He stated, “I’ve got a fantastic wife who has been with me when things were rough in the beginning… My children are just a blessing. I think just speaking for yourself, you heal by raising children because you get to do right what you think was done wrong to you.”
Last year, Stanley commemorated their 19th anniversary by declaring that “one lifetime will never be enough” with Erin.
