The Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive linemen experienced an early holiday season this year, thanks to quarterback Patrick Mahomes. On December 19, the team shared moments on Instagram showcasing players excitedly unwrapping gifts from Mahomes, continuing a tradition he started in 2024.
“Christmas came early for the O-line! Shoutout to QB1 for the gifts 🎄,” read the caption accompanying the exciting post.
Images showed players such as C.J. Hanson, Trey Smith, Esa Pole, Chukwuebuka Godrick, and Hunter Nourzad entering a meeting room to discover their presents from Mahomes.
Among the extravagant gifts was a Hublot watch, with some models retailing for over $40,000. Mahomes is a brand ambassador for the luxury watchmaker. He also provided the linemen with a Full Swing KIT, an advanced indoor golf practice technology that is valued at around $4,000.
In addition to these standout items, the gifts included Beats Studio Pro headphones, priced at approximately $179.99, and Oakley Meta HSTN AI sunglasses, which feature a hands-free camera and voice-activated responses, available for about $399. Each player also received a customized glasses case with their jersey number.
Furthermore, Mahomes gifted each teammate a Rimowa aluminum suitcase, with a retail value of $1,500, and an Aventon e-bike, starting at $1,699, capable of connecting to various devices.
Videos from the Chiefs captured the players enjoying their gifts, riding the e-bikes through hallways and trying on their new AI glasses.
Known for his generosity around the holidays, the three-time Super Bowl champion has a history of gifting extravagant items to his teammates. Last year, the locker room was filled with red Yeti Tundra Haul wheeled coolers, which retail for $425 each. He filled the coolers with various luxury gifts, including Normatec Elite air compression attachments, Rolex watches, Lucchese leather boots, Oakley sunglasses, WHOOP bands, and items from Adidas’ Black Y-3 line. Some fortunate players even received Louis Vuitton luggage.

This year, Mahomes’ generosity comes in the wake of an injury sustained during the Chiefs’ recent loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He tore the ACL and LCL ligaments while trying to score in a crucial moment late in the game, leading to Kansas City’s elimination from the NFL playoffs.
The Chiefs’ vice president of sports medicine and performance, Rick Burkholder, stated that Mahomes’ recovery is estimated to take about nine months, aiming for a return during Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season.
The new season will commence the week of September 10, 2026, according to ESPN. Mahomes has not addressed the media since his injury but expressed his commitment to recovery in a social media post, thanking fans for their support and vowing to return even stronger.

In a heartfelt message, Mahomes expressed his frustration about the injury and shared a sense of hope moving forward. “Don’t know why this had to happen. And not going to lie, it hurts,” he wrote. “But all we can do now is trust in God and attack every single day over and over again.”
He concluded by thanking the Chiefs’ fan base for their unwavering support and promised, “I will be back stronger than ever.”
