Olivia Jade Giannulli expressed admiration for her mother, Lori Loughlin, following the actress’s striking appearance at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Opening Gala. In a post shared on her Instagram Stories, Giannulli, 26, wrote, “How does my mother look like this? ☠️,” alongside photos of the duo at the event.

Both Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli dazzled attendees at the gala. Giannulli donned an elegant black Elie Saab gown featuring a sheer lace bodice and a dramatic skirt, while Loughlin opted for a chic silver dress. Loughlin’s new look was complemented by a freshly styled bob, marking a departure from her typically longer auburn hair. Her hairstylist, David Robert Naumann, later addressed speculation about the transformation, asserting in an Instagram comment, “It’s not a wig. I’d know,” and credited Loughlin’s new hairstyle to his skilled cutting.

The event comes at a pivotal time for Loughlin, who has been re-emerging into public life following her separation from husband Mossimo Giannulli in late 2025, after decades of marriage. A source recently revealed that Loughlin has begun dating again and is enjoying this phase of her life. "Lori has been putting herself back out there after her split from Mossimo and is dating again," the source told Us Weekly, adding that Loughlin is “just having fun and keeping things light and casual.” The insider also mentioned that the actress feels invigorated, noting, “[She] is in such a good headspace lately."

Loughlin’s professional resurgence is also evident as she recently made a surprise return to acting by reprising her role on Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart. “It feels amazing, and my girl [Erin Krakow] here has been championing this for a long time," Loughlin said at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in December 2025. Reflecting on her return, she expressed gratitude to Hallmark, stating, “This just feels incredible.”

Previously, Hallmark had severed ties with Loughlin in 2019 due to her involvement in the college admissions scandal, which led to a prison sentence and a substantial fine.
