Nir Caspi from WME Joins IAG as Head of Non-Scripted and New Media
Independent Artist Group (IAG) has appointed Nir Caspi as its new Head of Non-Scripted & New Media and Chief Growth Officer, marking a significant leadership change within the agency.
Caspi joins IAG after a successful 15-year tenure at WME, where he served as a partner. His experience spans various domains, including non-scripted television, documentaries, digital media, and the creator economy. Notably, he played a key role in the successful reboot of Netflix’s Queer Eye, which is set to conclude its eight-year run with the launch of its tenth season tomorrow.
IAG’s leadership transition follows its establishment two years ago, stemming from the merger of APA and AGI. Kyle Loftus’s appointment as President last year further solidified the agency’s strategic direction.
Caspi takes over the role from Hayden Meyer, who previously led Alternative and Factual Programming at IAG. Meyer, a nearly 20-year veteran of the company, will remain a partner and agent.
Based in Los Angeles, Caspi has represented notable clients, including A. Smith & Co. (producers of American Ninja Warrior), Mission Control (producers of Hollywood Game Night), and Bari Weiss’s The Free Press. His client roster also includes former New England Patriots player Julian Edelman and the nu-metal band Linkin Park.
“Nir is exactly the kind of leader we look for—someone who understands both the evolving marketplace and how to empower businesses to meet that need,” said CEO Jim Osborne and President Kyle Loftus in a joint statement. “As we build IAG as the true alternative in the full-service agency space, our focus has been on growth, innovation, and opportunity for our clients.”
Caspi expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “IAG has demonstrated, at a time when agencies across the industry are downsizing, a willingness to invest in strategic and transformational growth under the leadership of Jim Osborne and Kyle Loftus. They have the resources and the will to continue their growth trajectory, as well as excellent clients and signing momentum, which is why I am extremely excited to join their team.”
Meyer highlighted the significance of the department’s evolution: “Building and leading this department has been an honor. Given the monumental changes in the entertainment industry and a significant shift toward influencer-driven content, the time is right, and Nir is the ideal leader to guide the department into the future. I look forward to collaborating with Jim, Kyle, and Nir to ensure our continued progress and success as an agency.”
