Nicki Minaj Joins Donald Trump at Presidential Summit to Discuss the Importance of Paying It Forward
Nicki Minaj to Appear at Summit Celebrating Trump Accounts
Nicki Minaj is set to make headlines once again as she confirms her participation in an upcoming summit celebrating the launch of “Trump Accounts” in the United States. The event will take place on Wednesday at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C.
On January 24, Minaj announced her involvement by sharing the official event details on X, which include prominent speakers like Donald Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. This summit aims to introduce the government’s new personal retirement savings program established under the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
Expressing her enthusiasm, Minaj noted the impressive lineup of featured guests, which includes Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank, Cheryl Hines from Curb Your Enthusiasm, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
“The true meaning of paying it forward,” Minaj shared in a follow-up post. “Early financial literacy & financial support for our children will give them a major head start in life. In some cases, they will end up teaching their very own parents how to invest & what to invest in.” She added, “This makes me very happy.”
Minaj has remained steadfast in her support of Trump’s policies, despite considerable backlash for her alignment with MAGA ideals. Her participation in a Turning Point USA event with Erika Kirk led to a petition for her deportation, which garnered tens of thousands of signatures, given her Trinidadian origins and status as a non-citizen.
Earlier this month, she stirred controversy again by criticizing independent journalist Don Lemon during a protest reporting in Minneapolis. In her remarks, she called for his imprisonment despite his lack of involvement in the protest itself.
In November, Minaj spoke at a United Nations event, praising Trump for addressing the alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
As the summit approaches, her unwavering support for Trump becomes increasingly evident, marking another chapter in her public persona and political engagement.
