Schur further praised Danson for his thoughtful approach to his craft, emphasizing the dedication he brings to each set. "He just works so hard. He cares so much. He is so thoughtful about the way he goes about his craft," Schur said.
Danson’s extensive career includes roles in iconic series such as Cheers, Becker, Fargo, and Mr. Mayor. Schur commended Danson’s range, noting his ability to excel in various television genres. “I mean, who has more range? Think about his career. It’s multi-cam comedy, and then Damages and then single-camera comedy. He’s done everything, like Bored to Death,” Schur remarked.
Currently, Schur and Danson are focused on A Man on the Inside, which features Danson as Charles Nieuwendyk, a retiree who becomes a private investigator. The second season of the series premiered on November 20, introducing Danson’s real-life wife, Mary Steenburgen, as Mona Margadoff, a character who becomes Nieuwendyk’s love interest.
