Molly Sims Shares Her Go-To Product for Achieving a Well-Rested Glow
Molly Sims has embraced a clear mission with YSE Beauty: to create beauty products that address real issues rather than merely concealing them. This philosophy is particularly evident in the expansion of her best-selling Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream, priced at $68. Described as the ultimate under-eye essential, the product exemplifies Sims’s commitment to solutions.
“I saw a problem and didn’t just want to cover it up—I wanted to solve it,” Sims explained, referring to the eye cream’s dual ability to combat dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness. She believes that tired under-eyes often reveal the stress of balancing careers and family life; thus, she sought an effective product that delivers immediate results while ensuring long-term skin health.
The Wide Awake cream is designed as a hybrid, combining clinical-grade skincare with the instant benefits of makeup. “My community of women is busy, but they still want to look good,” Sims noted. “They need something that brightens, smooths, and blurs right away, but also actually improves dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines over time.” She considers the product essential in her routine, highlighting its lack of creasing and cakiness, which contributes to a glowing complexion.
In addition to a brightening combination of potent ingredients like vitamin C, niacinamide, and white shiitake extract, the launch of Wide Awake reflects Sims’s dedication to inclusivity. The eye cream is now available in four sheer, color-correcting tints: Sheer Pink for fair to light skin, Sheer Peach for light to medium, Sheer Honey for medium to medium-deep, and Sheer Mocha for deep to rich-deep tones. “This isn’t about full-on coverage,” she emphasized. “It’s about sheer, buildable color correction. You can mix and match shades to find your perfect brightening effect.”
Sims also refers to it as her “number-one mom hack for faking a full eight hours of sleep,” as it serves both as an eye cream and a subtle, glowy under-eye highlighter.
Achieving the perfect formula was a meticulous process for Sims, who described herself as “exacting” regarding both performance and finish. “If it takes 20 iterations, then that’s what we do,” she said. “Patience is key! That’s also why clinicals are so important. A product may look beautiful or feel great on the skin, but it has to work, and I make sure we have the science to prove it.”
Looking to the future, Sims hinted at exciting developments for YSE Beauty. By 2026, she teases a long-awaited product launch, describing it as something inspired by her community’s requests. “If I had to describe our next product launch, think plump, smooth, and bouncy,” Sims shared. “It’s something our community has been asking for and something I’ve wanted to create from the very beginning. Think of it as a morning serum…but taken to the next level.”
