Meghan Trainor Welcomes Third Child
On January 20, Meghan Trainor announced the arrival of her third child through a heartfelt Instagram post. In the shared photo series, Trainor revealed that her baby girl, Mikey Moon Trainor, had entered the world, thanks to the support of a surrogate, whom she described as "incredible" and a "superwoman."
The pop singer expressed her gratitude in the caption: "We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible." She further explained that they engaged in extensive discussions with healthcare professionals to ensure this was the safest option for expanding their family.
Trainor, who is currently married to Daryl Sabara, is already a mother to two sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2. The family recently appeared together in the Instagram post, celebrating their new addition.
Reflecting on her parenting journey, Trainor had previously shared her feelings about motherhood in a 2022 interview, stating, "I look at [Riley] and I’m like, ‘Oh, I need three more.’" This sentiment underscores her desire for a larger family.
Before welcoming Riley in 2021, Trainor authored a book titled Dear Future Mama: A TMI Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Motherhood from Your Bestie. She noted that the inspiration for the book stemmed from her own experiences of feeling alone during her pregnancy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trainor’s experiences as a mother have also influenced her musical work. Her 2022 album, Takin’ It Back, features a song titled "Superwoman," which she dedicated to mothers, particularly working moms. She emphasized the emotional significance of her music, describing it as her "whole heart."
