Meghan Markle Dazzles in Chartreuse at Netflix Party, Drawing Everyone’s Eyes
Meghan Markle Stands Out in Chartreuse at Netflix’s "Beef" Season 2 Party
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made a striking impression at a recent Netflix party celebrating the launch of "Beef" Season 2. On Friday night, she donned a vibrant chartreuse dress that drew attention amidst a sea of black and white attire worn by other guests.
While the event’s dress code remains unverified, most attendees, including the guest of honor Carey Mulligan, adhered to a monochromatic theme. Mulligan herself opted for a lime green Christopher John Rogers ensemble, complementing Markle’s bold choice.
Markle was spotted mingling with notable figures, including Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and his wife, Nicole Avant. The Duchess shared an enthusiastic hug with Avant, a gesture that stood out against the backdrop of a recent partnership shake-up between Markle’s lifestyle brand and the streaming giant.
Despite some negative comments surrounding her fashion choice, such as critiques of her gown’s design, Markle’s style was indeed eye-catching. One Twitter user remarked sarcastically, "She must have asked what kind of dress the star was wearing, and then managed to find the ugliest dress in the same color." Another added, "To be fair, no one should wear that color."
Guests at the event included co-stars Oscar Isaac and Charles Melton, alongside Sarandos, as they celebrated the anticipated release of "Beef." Markle’s appearance was notable not only for her fashion but also as a public re-engagement with Netflix, following recent setbacks when the platform declined to renew her show, "With Love, Meghan," and discontinued collaborations with her brand.
This public outing comes on the heels of Prince Harry facing a lawsuit from his former charity, Sentebale, amplifying the couple’s current prominence in the media landscape.
