Martha Stewart’s Makeup Artist Swears by This Bronzer: ‘Martha Can’t Get Enough’
Martha Stewart’s makeup artist, Daisy Toye, recently showcased her favorite beauty products in two detailed videos on Instagram. Captured with the caption, “makeup products I keep repurchasing for Martha’s glam,” Toye’s posts highlight her long-standing collaboration with Stewart and her expertise in the beauty industry.
Among the numerous products featured, Toye particularly praised the Lancôme Teint Idole Skin Transforming Powder Bronzer, stating, “Love these. This is my third time getting this one because Martha keeps taking mine.” This endorsement illustrates just how integral this bronzer has become to Stewart’s makeup routine.
Toye, who has worked with Stewart for nearly two decades, noted that they use the shade Light 2, which she describes as “such a nice color.” The bronzer is available in six additional shades designed to provide a shimmery, natural-looking glow. Toye mentioned that this bronzer has been part of Stewart’s beauty arsenal for some time, as it was also included in a previous roundup of "Martha’s favorites" last year.
The formula contains beneficial skincare ingredients, including vitamins C and E, promising a natural glow that lasts up to 24 hours. In addition to the bronzer, Toye emphasized the importance of sun protection with the Lancôme UV Expert Defense SPF 50+ Primer & Moisturizer, calling it “the best” and “one of Martha’s absolute favorites.”
Beyond these staples, Toye highlighted the Lancôme Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover, a product she claims has been a reliable favorite since her teenage years. “I keep buying it because it’s the only thing that works,” she remarked, underscoring the product’s effectiveness.
Not all of Stewart’s makeup pieces originate from Lancôme; Toye also mentioned innovative products like the Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo, recommending the shade “She’s Blushing” for its flattering blendability. The pair also enjoys the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, which Toye says “covers beautifully.”
As Toye prepares to make her debut on “Real Housewives of New York” this season, she may draw inspiration from Stewart’s coveted products for her own on-camera appearances, bridging the gap between their professional partnership and her own personal style.
