Man Taken Into Custody for Trespassing at Chris Brown’s Home in Tarzana
A man was arrested Wednesday evening for trespassing at the Tarzana home of singer Chris Brown, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
Police reported that the suspect was in the vicinity of Brown’s residence when security personnel requested he leave the area. Although he initially complied, the man returned shortly before 7 p.m. and attempted to scale the property’s fence. Security apprehended him and held him until LAPD officers arrived, who subsequently arrested him for trespassing.
Authorities confirmed that Brown was not at home during the incident. The LAPD is now forwarding the case to prosecutors for potential charges.
This incident marks the second altercation at Brown’s home this month. Earlier, a shooting outside the residence drew attention when a woman, allegedly attempting to meet someone, engaged in a confrontation with a security guard. During the altercation, the guard discharged a CO2-style handgun at her vehicle, causing damage.
The guard, identified as 35-year-old Markeith Cungious, was arrested and now faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. His bail is set at $50,000, though it remains unclear if he has legal representation.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in either of these incidents, according to police statements.
