Johnson Wen, who recently spent time in jail for charging at Ariana Grande on the red carpet in Singapore, was removed from a Lady Gaga concert in Australia. The incident occurred shortly before the performance began at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Videos shared by fans on X and Instagram show the 26-year-old being questioned by security before his ejection. As he was escorted out, concertgoers can be heard shouting, “Get him out of here!” and “That’s the guy that tackled Ariana!”
Following his removal, Wen took to his Instagram Story, stating, “Got kicked out of Lady Gaga concert! The show doesn’t start till 8 p.m.! The early fans were booing me.”
While his intentions during the Mayhem show remain unclear, Wen has gained notoriety as a habitual stage-crasher, having previously rushed the stages of notable artists like The Chainsmokers and The Weeknd. He was also arrested this summer for a similar incident at a Katy Perry concert in Sydney.
In November, Wen attracted attention for breaching security at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good, where he charged towards Grande. Despite being quickly subdued, Wen made physical contact with her, wrapping an arm around her neck and grabbing her shoulder. Cynthia Erivo intervened, capturing attention in videos that showed her assistance in removing Wen.
Following this encounter, Wen received a nine-day jail sentence in Singapore and was subsequently banned from returning to the city-state.
