Lucy Hale’s Romantic Fantasy Film ‘Vision Board’ Gains International Interest at Cannes Market
EXCLUSIVE: Buyers are responding positively to Lucy Hale’s upcoming romantic fantasy film, Vision Board, which Concourse Media introduced ahead of the Cannes market.
The film has secured pre-sales in multiple regions: Wild Bunch for Germany and Switzerland, Rialto for Australia and New Zealand, CDC for Latin America, ProRom for Eastern Europe, Three Lines for Benelux, Paradise for the CIS and Baltics, Falcon for the Middle East, and Captive for Airlines, with additional agreements in negotiation.
Hale, known for her roles in Pretty Little Liars and Truth or Dare, stars as a struggling fashion designer whose mundane life changes dramatically after she drunkenly creates a vision board. Upon waking up, she finds herself in her dream life, complete with a Malibu mansion, a successful fashion empire, and a seemingly perfect romance. However, as she immerses herself in this ideal existence, she begins to confront the potential loss of her authentic self.
Based on a story by author Morgan Matson, the film will be directed by Peter Hutchings, marking his third collaboration with Hale, following The Hating Game and Which Brings Me to You. Production is slated to begin later this year.
Producers Claude Dal Farra and Brian Keady from BCDF Pictures, known for The Hating Game, are joined by Matthew Shreder and his company Concourse Media, which will executive-produce and finance the project alongside Archetype Media Finance.
