Actress Lori Loughlin made her first public appearance since her divorce from Mossimo Giannulli was finalized last October. She attended a Project Angel Food event on February 5, marking a significant return to the spotlight.
At the event celebrating the opening of The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Foundation, Loughlin showcased a new look with darker hair and a side part. Known for her previous dark blonde locks, she debuted a rich brunette hue accented with soft highlights. Her outfit consisted of a long-sleeved sheer white lace blouse with a subtle peplum detail paired with flared blue jeans and brown leather shoes. Loughlin accessorized with a black beaded pendant necklace and several gold bangles, enhancing her bohemian aesthetic.
The actress’s representative confirmed her separation from Giannulli in October, stating, “They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time,” as initially reported by People. Following their split, a source shared with People, "Things have never been the same," emphasizing the significant changes in their relationship.
In 2020, both Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud for their involvement in a scheme to secure admissions for their daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade, at the University of Southern California. Loughlin received a two-month prison sentence, while Giannulli was sentenced to five months.
As Loughlin steps back into public engagements, sources close to her indicate a turbulent emotional landscape. “Lori feels betrayed," one insider revealed. "It’s not a happy situation for her. They’re in very different places right now, and it’s unlikely that they’ll find their way back together."
