Lindsay from Summer House Says Amanda Kissed Kyle to Cover Up West Romance News
Lindsay Hubbard Comments on the Early Stages of Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s Romance
Lindsay Hubbard, a cast member from Summer House, recently discussed the timeline leading to Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship, spotlighting a significant interaction between Batula and Kyle Cooke.
On the April 28 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Bravo newcomer Bailey Taylor recounted an unexpected moment in late February when Batula, 34, was seen kissing Cooke, 43, just a month after announcing her split from him. "She was grabbing his face and really heavily kissing him, and I was saying, ‘What is happening?’" Taylor recalled. "I said to West, ‘What are they doing?’ He goes, ‘Let them do their thing.’ Now I’m wondering, why did he say that?”
Hubbard, 39, offered her candid observations, questioning the dynamics at play. "Imagine using your husband as a decoy for your boyfriend? Wild!" she remarked, expressing skepticism about Batula and Wilson’s account of the situation. "I just think there is a difference between emotional and physical [connection]. And that things in an emotional capacity could have happened before. It’s undeniable watching the season."
Hubbard further critiqued Wilson, 31, for sharing a photo of her daughter, Gemma, playing with his ex, Ciara Miller. She suggested that the post was an effort to distract from rumors regarding his relationship with Batula. "He used my child as bait to sort of cover up his relationship," she said. "I didn’t like that. And we talk about that at the reunion.”
Following Batula and Cooke’s breakup announcement in January, speculation about her budding connection with Wilson intensified. Initially, both denied dating, but they later confirmed their relationship. In a joint statement, they noted, "It was never our intention to purposely hide anything… Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
However, their relationship faced backlash during the filming of Summer House‘s season ten reunion on April 23, leading to a leaked audio scandal that prompted Bravo to conduct an investigation. Host Andy Cohen expressed his dismay over the leak via Threads, calling it "disgusting and illegal" and emphasizing the emotional toll on the cast.
Bravo later confirmed that the leak originated from an unauthorized recording made by someone involved in the production, adding that appropriate actions would be taken.
