Lily Allen and David Harbour Sell New York Home Amid Split
Lily Allen and David Harbour have secured a buyer for their New York City townhouse, reportedly selling it at a loss as they navigate their recent separation.
Situated in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood, the property was initially listed for $7.9 million in October and has now sold for $7.3 million, according to Carl Gambino Real Estate’s Instagram page.
The brownstone showcases designs by AD100 designer Billy Cotton and architect Ben Bischoff. The living area features a distinctive pea green tray ceiling, an ornate crown molding, and floral wallpaper, complemented by green velvet couches and a statement chandelier.
In contrast, the kitchen has a more understated aesthetic with cream-colored tiles and gingham cushioned chairs. The home also includes a backyard and various unique design elements.
The townhouse gained notable attention earlier this year when featured in Architectural Digest.
The decision to sell comes after Allen and Harbour, married since 2020, announced their separation in February 2025. "Her marriage has been crumbling," an insider revealed, affirming the couple’s split.
Allen, who met Harbour on the dating app Raya, spoke on her November 2024 podcast, Miss Me?, about experiencing a "tough time," mentioning the stress impacting her mental health. She has two daughters, Marnie Rose and Ethel Mary, from her previous marriage.
The property has served as significant inspiration for Allen’s upcoming 2025 album West End Girl, featuring lyrics that appear to reflect her split from the Stranger Things actor. Allen described some of the songs as "autofiction," blending her personal experiences with fictional storytelling to explore human behavior.
The sale of the townhouse marks a pivotal moment for the couple as they transition into new chapters of their lives.
