Chabert continued, “Well, I bet you can guess where I am, and for the first time ever, we are announcing a brand new, 2026 Countdown to Christmas movie a whole year ahead of schedule. I am incredibly excited and so honored to share that I will be starring in the all-new 2026 Hallmark Christmas movie Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, filming right here on location at Walt Disney World Resort.”
Chabert, who shares a nine-year-old daughter, Julia, with her husband, David Nehdar, noted, “I love visiting here with my family, and I always thought it would make the absolute perfect setting for a Hallmark Christmas movie.” She also mentioned, “It makes me happy to work on things my daughter can enjoy.”
She will star alongside FUBAR actor Travis Van Winkle, who has also appeared in several Hallmark holiday films. The cast is rounded out by Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander, with Patrick Renna making a cameo appearance.

The film’s synopsis reveals that “Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family head to Walt Disney World to spend a magical Christmas together, but the dream of a jolly holiday gets quickly dashed when Lindsey discovers her room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had. As their paths cross throughout their stay, the frost begins to thaw as they learn they’re not so different from each other after all. Thanks to some Walt Disney World magic, the holiday wish Lindsey made in Cinderella Fountain just might turn their rivalry into romance.”
Ryan Landels, who previously worked on 2024’s Santa Tell Me and Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration, will write and direct the film.

Darren Abbott, chief brand officer at Hallmark, remarked on the long-standing collaboration between Hallmark and Disney, stating, “The history between Hallmark and Disney dates back decades, when a shared Kansas City connection and friendship between Hallmark’s founder, J.C. Hall, and Walt Disney himself led to our first-ever licensed products, including the very first greeting card featuring Mickey Mouse. We’re thrilled to expand our partnership beyond the products we create together and onto the screen with this heartwarming and joyful Christmas movie that embodies the very best of both brands.”
Sally Conner, VP of global content, echoed this sentiment, expressing excitement that Walt Disney World will be the immersive setting for the holiday film. She said, “Storytelling is at the heart of both Disney and Hallmark, and that magic shines even brighter during the holidays. This film is a wonderful way to share that joy and pixie dust with fans everywhere.”
