Kristi Cook’s Weekly Teacap Joins The Roost for Exciting Audio-Video Partnership
EXCLUSIVE: Kristi Cook, an entertainment journalist and founder of the pop culture platform Spill Sesh, has entered into an audio-video partnership for her podcast Weekly Teacap with The Roost.
The one-year agreement aims to enhance the show’s advertising, sponsorship, and distribution prospects.
The Roost, a podcast network known for shows like This Past Weekend with Theo Von, will provide strategic support for sales representation, monetization, hosting, and distribution to Weekly Teacap. Cook will retain full ownership of the intellectual property and maintain creative control over the podcast.

This agreement signifies a key step in the former TMZ journalist’s strategy to evolve Weekly Teacap into a multi-platform franchise while expanding her digital ecosystem. Alongside Weekly Teacap, Cook is also the co-founder and co-host of Popity, a podcast under Studio71.
Cook gained prominence as the creator of Spill Sesh, a YouTube pop culture commentary channel that has amassed nearly 500 million lifetime views. After running the channel anonymously for five years, she publicly revealed her identity in an interview with The New York Times.
