Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her music preferences, revealing her admiration for Taylor Swift. Speaking on her sister Khloé’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, on January 21, Kardashian shared that she listens to some of Swift’s older songs.
"I think people would be surprised," Khloé remarked about Kim’s listening habits. In response, Kim acknowledged, "I think I’ve said it," emphasizing that she has a selection of Swift’s tracks in her playlist. "I’ve always thought she’s like a super talented, great artist," she added.

The discussion about music came nearly a decade after a public feud between Kardashian and Swift, which stemmed from a vulgar reference by Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, in his song "Famous." West claimed Swift had given her approval for the lyric, a notion she denied. This altercation was further complicated when Kardashian released edited footage of a phone conversation between Swift and West.
In a 2019 interview, Kardashian stated that they had "all moved on" from the feud. Swift, in a subsequent 2023 interview, described the impact of the incident on her mental health, stating it “took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before.”
Kardashian’s recent comments also come in light of Swift’s 2021 song “thanK you aIMee," which fans speculated might reference her. Back in 2009, Kardashian expressed her admiration for Swift, stating, “I love Taylor Swift! I’m the biggest Taylor Swift fan.”
On the podcast, Kardashian also shared her fondness for country artists such as Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, and LeAnn Rimes. Additionally, she addressed a controversy surrounding a prop used during filming of her series All’s Fair, which some believed to be an expensive Hermés Birkin purse. Kardashian clarified that it was a fake, explaining her decision to use it as a prop, and acknowledged that she wishes she had made more prudent choices regarding its presentation.
