Jury Duty Season 2 is Coming to Prime Video: Here’s What You Need to Know
Prime Video has announced that Season 2 of Jury Duty is set to premiere on March 20. Titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, the new season will debut with three episodes, followed by two episodes on March 27, and conclude with a three-episode finale on April 3. The series will be accessible in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The latest installment is co-created and executive produced by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, both known for their work on The Office. Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat presents a documentary-style comedy that unfolds during a corporate offsite at a family-owned hot sauce company, told through the eyes of Anthony, a recently hired temporary employee. Unbeknownst to Anthony, the entire scenario is scripted, with all his colleagues playing roles. As the founder prepares to step down, the retreat escalates into a struggle between corporate ambitions and small-business values, with the future of the company at stake.
Jury Duty’s first season explored the dynamics of an American jury trial from the perspective of a juror, Ronald Gladden, who was unaware that the case surrounding him was entirely fictional. Every participant, aside from him, was an actor, with every moment meticulously planned.

As previously reported, the theme of the new season centers around a David vs. Goliath narrative, focusing on a small business during its company retreat. To preserve the integrity of the premise—where an ordinary person unknowingly becomes part of a scripted television show—the casting and production were conducted discreetly, similar to the first season.
The series is directed and executive produced by Jake Szymanski, with David Bernad and Todd Schulman also among the executive producers. The production team includes Nicholas Hatton, Anthony King, Chris Kula, James Marsden, and Ruben Fleischer.
Jury Duty debuted in 2023, gaining critical acclaim and earning a Peabody Award and an AFI Award, along with four Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series, as well as two nominations for Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.
