Julianne Hough, the 37-year-old co-host of Dancing with the Stars, recently showcased her holiday spirit through a series of social media posts.
On December 23, Hough shared multiple photos on Instagram, capturing her “Christmas at home.” In her first image, she posed in a bikini in front of a beautifully adorned Christmas tree, emitting a festive vibe. “❤️” accompanied her caption, adding warmth to her holiday greetings.
The festive photo featured Hough arched back in a playful pose, surrounded by gift-wrapped surprises beneath the tree. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offered a glimpse into her backyard, revealing a puppy and a pool area.
In her second photo, Hough was seen smiling beside the same puppy while enjoying a drink, fully dressed this time. Additional snapshots displayed her lounging by the pool and playfully sliding into a large bag next to the Christmas tree, humorously suggesting she might be a gift too.
Hough’s mother, Marriann Hough, made appearances in a couple of these photos—one capturing a moment where Julianne rested her head in her mother’s lap, and another featuring her with her high school sweetheart Doug, as shared on her Instagram Stories. “I just love LOVE,” she remarked in a subsequent slide.
The Safe Haven actress later documented her travels in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, through her Instagram Stories on December 23. After a group workout, she shared pictures and videos of herself exploring a wooded area in a bikini and straw hat, carefully balancing on a fallen tree branch.

The laughter of her companion could be heard in the background as she successfully navigated the branch. Following her outdoor adventures, Hough participated in a clay-making class on an open-air deck overlooking the water, where rolling pins and clay materials were arranged for her group. She humorously referred to herself and a friend as “Trad Wives,” posing with rolling pins while wearing aprons, adding to the festive charm of her holiday celebrations.
