Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson have officially announced their summer tour, set to take place across 16 arenas in North America. The announcement was made during a recent episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show on December 16, where both artists shared the exciting news with their fans.
The tour, which Groban describes as an extraordinary opportunity to perform alongside one of the greatest vocalists, will begin on June 2 in Montreal. The singers, both 44, expressed their mutual admiration for one another, highlighting their combined musical talents and Grammy nominations.
Groban stated, “We might have the same secret… this extraordinary, extraordinary, one of the greatest vocalists who’s ever lived, one of the most amazing people on the planet…has graciously agreed to come out on the road with me.” He expressed his honor at touring with Hudson, emphasizing the exciting duet possibilities they will explore together.
Hudson reciprocated the sentiment, stating, “This can’t be my life, but I am so excited. It is such an honor.”
The tour is billed as “two legendary voices, one unforgettable evening,” with stops in several major cities, including New York City, Boston, and Nashville. After a series of previously announced international dates on his GEMS World Tour, Groban remarked, “Performing live has always been one of the greatest joys of my life, and getting to share these nights with Jennifer, someone I admire so deeply, makes it all the more special.”
In addition to their tour, Groban recently released the album Hidden Gems, which features rare tracks, while Hudson’s last album, the holiday record The Gift of Love, was released in 2024.
Pre-sales for tickets will commence on December 17 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales to follow on December 19 at the same time.
