Jimmy Fallon Suggests Hudson Williams as Host for SNL Following Excited Response from Tonight Show Audience
The global fandom of Heated Rivalry continues to expand, creating numerous opportunities for its cast, who are now making their late-night television debuts.
Following Hudson Williams’s appearance on an NBC talk show last week, The Tonight Show host and Saturday Night Live alum, Jimmy Fallon, has suggested that Williams should next make his hosting debut on SNL.
Fallon remarked, “I mean, he’s Canadian, so there’s an advantage there,” speaking about both Michaels and Williams. He added, “They look out for each other!”

In a light-hearted moment, Fallon joked that “Ryan Reynolds and Ryan Gosling are passing the hot Canadian celebrity torch to Hudson Williams.” This comment followed Williams’ well-received appearance on the Jan. 7 episode of The Tonight Show, during which audience excitement reached a fever pitch. Fallon likened the fervor of the crowd to that of fans for stars like Harry Styles and BTS.
Fallon’s recommendation carries weight, as he noted that tonight’s first-time host Finn Wolfhard was his last suggestion, emphasizing the strong casting decisions made by Lorne Michaels and the team.
In addition to Williams, Heated Rivalry cast member Connor Storrie marked his late-night debut on the Jan. 12 episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, following their appearance at the Golden Globes.
