Jessica Alba has candidly described the filming of her nude scene in the 2005 film Fantastic Four as “humiliating.” At the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on December 5, the 44-year-old actress recalled her unease with the scene, saying, “I thought that was awful. It was very humiliating in real life. I grew up with a pretty conservative family, and I am a pretty modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks. I have a lot of whiplash from those days.”
Despite her apprehensions, Alba noted that her character, Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman, was someone she admired. “She was a woman I looked up to,” Alba remarked. “She was very maternal and very kind, but also not a pushover; she spoke her mind.”
“She had a great moral compass,” she continued, highlighting the character’s empowering traits. “No matter who you are, you can look up to her. Oftentimes, the women in these stories need to be saved by a guy or the villain; that’s how it was back then. It’s different now.”

Alba portrayed Sue Storm in two installments of the Fantastic Four franchise, alongside notable actors including Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards, Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm, and Julian McMahon as Victor von Doom.
In a previous interview, Alba expressed her openness to returning to the Fantastic Four universe. “Yeah, of course. I loved playing that character,” she stated regarding her roles in Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). “I’d be open to anything in the Marvel universe. I’m a fan of all the superhero stories, and it was a great time in my life. So yeah, if they would have me, sure.”
