Jennifer Garner Shares Her Thoughts on Botox and Future Cosmetic Procedures
Jennifer Garner Addresses Cosmetic Enhancements on Podcast
In a candid conversation on her podcast "Not Gonna Lie," actress Jennifer Garner discussed her experiences with cosmetic procedures, revealing her mixed feelings about anti-aging treatments. During the February 26 episode, she spoke with fellow guest Kyie Kelce about her brief foray into Botox, noting that it resulted in an unnerving experience: “Of course, I’ve tried Botox and all that, but it takes very little to completely freeze my forehead. And then I just feel so conspicuous, like I’ve got a walking billboard. It’s horrible.”
Garner stated that Botox is “unfortunately not” an option for her. Despite occasional insecurities regarding the wrinkles on her forehead, she shared her preference for a simple solution: bangs. “I do, I have creasy wrinkles, and they’re gonna have to just be there so sometimes I get bangs,” she explained. Garner also emphasized that she takes a proactive approach to skincare, visiting a dermatologist annually for non-invasive treatments.
“Don’t think that I don’t have something in there because I haven’t done surgery,” Garner clarified. “I haven’t — I would tell you if I had. I haven’t done any of that stuff.” She described annual visits to her dermatologist as feeling like “a pincushion” but noted that the subtlety of the results often leaves her questioning the effectiveness of the procedures. “The more you spend on a dermatologist doing a bunch of things to your face, the less you can tell that they’ve done it,” she reflected with a hint of humor.
Looking ahead, Garner acknowledged that she’s open to the idea of additional cosmetic enhancements in the future and expressed no judgment toward those who opt for surgery. Her children, however, have made their feelings known. “My kids are like, ‘Mom, promise us you’ll never get a facelift,’” she shared, reassuring them that while she’s not rushing into any decisions, she won’t rule anything out. “I refuse to make that promise because I am me today, and I don’t know how I’m gonna feel.”
Kylie Kelce, who participated in the podcast, revealed her own aspirations for cosmetic work, illustrating the ongoing conversations about beauty and body image among public figures today.
