TikTok Star Matt Howard Shares Hair Transplant Update
Social media influencer Matt Howard has given fans a glimpse into his hair transplant journey. On November 30, Howard shared an image of his newly shaped hairline via his Instagram Story, captioning it with "Hair transplant update."
In a follow-up post, he expressed excitement about his progress, stating, “New hair is coming in!!!!” Howard also shared a top-down view of his head, revealing patches of skin where hair growth is expected.

Despite the positive updates, Howard noted that he experienced significant hair loss on the top of his head, assuring followers that he expected it to regrow within the next nine months, with the final results appearing about a year post-surgery.
Howard previously opened up about his decision to undergo the procedure in September, revealing concerns about his thinning hair, especially after trying to pull off a buzz cut. He described his embarrassment and how it led him to wear hats to cover his insecurity. "Male pattern baldness runs in my family, so it was only a matter of time until I would go bald too," he shared.
After trying medications like finasteride and minoxidil without satisfactory results, Howard researched options. He found that while hair transplants in the U.S. could cost over $20,000, the procedure in Turkey was approximately $3,500, including transportation and a stay at a five-star hotel.
As he prepared for the transplant, which involved the implantation of 2,800 grafts under local anesthesia lasting six hours, Howard admitted to feeling nervous. He promised his followers to share his final results as they develop.
In a show of support, his wife, Abby Howard, commented, “I would love you bald or hairy🫶🏼.” The couple has gained fame on social media, documenting their lives, and they have over 5.3 million followers on TikTok. They share two sons, Griffin, 3, and August, 2.
In August, the Howards announced they were expecting their third child, but tragically revealed the loss of their baby girl in September. Sharing the heart-wrenching experience on Instagram, they expressed their grief, stating, “It is with very heavy hearts that we share about the loss of our baby girl born far too soon.” They emphasized their gratitude for the time they had with her and the hope they still felt despite the tragedy.
