Jennifer Garner Makes Striking Return to Golden Globes After 13 Years

Jennifer Garner’s much-anticipated return to the Golden Globes on January 11, 2026, was marked by a glamorous appearance on the red carpet. The actress attended the event for the first time in 13 years, showcasing a stunning black Cong Tri gown embellished with 330,000 crystal beads.

In a pre-show interview with WWD, Garner expressed her exhilaration about the gown but revealed the challenges it posed. “It’s very heavy. It almost sent me flying down the stairs and I almost fell,” she noted, highlighting the gown’s intricate design that required a staggering 1,300 hours of work to complete.

Garner, 53, looked radiant in her gown, which epitomized elegance and sophistication. As part of her ensemble, she wore Chevron pendant earrings featuring 3-carat pear-cut diamonds and several striking rings, including one adorned with a 5.01-carat pear-shaped diamond.

Along with her fashionable choice, Garner debuted a fresh hairstyle, which was revitalized by celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham. Hairstylist Adir Abergel styled her hair into elegant curls that complemented her overall look.

Despite the evening’s glamour, Garner reflected on her busy morning, which included taking her daughter to the airport after she returned to college. “I got up at 5, took her to the airport," Garner shared. "I also cooked up waffles for a bunch of teenagers for a sleepover at my house. There’s no stress here, it’s all good.”

Garner last graced the Golden Globes stage in 2013 alongside her then-husband Ben Affleck, from whom she divorced in 2018 after 10 years of marriage. Her striking return to the Globes has certainly captured public attention, marking a significant moment for both the actress and her fans.
