Jenna Ortega’s Chic Backless White Gown Features a Subtle ‘Wednesday’ Nod
Jenna Ortega Dazzles at the Marrakech International Film Festival
Jenna Ortega made a striking appearance on November 29 during the second day of the 22nd Marrakech International Film Festival, captivating attendees with her elegant fashion choice.
The actress stepped onto the red carpet wearing a stunning white silk gown custom-designed by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress featured a dramatic asymmetric halter neck and a backless design, showcasing Ortega’s chic style. Adding a touch of individuality, the gown was accented with a low-rise belt adorned with a small gothic cross charm.
Styled by Enrique Melendez, Ortega’s gown drew inspiration from a similar dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s 2002 collection. The floor-length piece gracefully wrapped around her neck and cascaded into a flowing train behind her. The elegant simplicity of the gown was complemented by the inclusion of the gothic cross, a nod to her iconic role as Wednesday Addams.
Ortega further enhanced her glamorous look with a dazzling ruby ring on her pointer finger and a layered diamond bracelet. Her hairstyle featured a slightly uneven center part, and she chose a dark red lip paired with her signature bleached brows.
As a jury member at this year’s film festival, Ortega is the youngest ever to hold such a honor. Reflecting on the experience, she expressed her gratitude, stating, “I’m not intimidated because I think I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude. I think it would be a shame to come into this experience and be weighed down by some external pressure.”
The actress had previously attended the festival’s opening ceremony, turning heads in a sculptural black gown by Bevza.
