Jenna Bush Hager Makes a Surprise Cameo in ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ After Craig Melvin’s Slip on ‘Today’
With the release of The Devil Wears Prada 2 approaching in less than a month, a significant cameo was inadvertently revealed during a live television broadcast.
During a taping of Today on Wednesday, host Craig Melvin shared some exciting details about the highly anticipated sequel directed by David Frankel, set to hit theaters on May 1. In the midst of the discussion, Melvin revealed that one of his colleagues would be making an appearance in the film.
“By the way, you know how that movie’s going to be good? You know how I can tell?” Melvin said. “JBH is in it!”
His co-host, Hoda Kotb, appeared taken aback, responding, “I don’t know that you were supposed to drop that bomb, but if you’re …”
“This is live. You cannot tell Craig anything!” added Savannah Guthrie, playfully teasing, “Why don’t you read my journal while you’re at it?”

Melvin then remarked, “I thought it was common knowledge?” prompting Al Roker to respond, “It is now!”
“Cut it out for the other feeds! Sorry about that, JBH,” Melvin added, acknowledging his slip-up. “My bad!”
The Devil Wears Prada 2 brings back Anne Hathaway as Andi, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling.
Fans can also expect the return of Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman from the original 2006 film directed by Aline Brosh McKenna, which is based on Lauren Weisberger’s novel. The sequel features a star-studded cast including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, Pauline Chalamet, Rachel Bloom, Patrick Brammall, Conrad Ricamora, and Lady Gaga.
