Beanie Feldstein and Griffin Dunne to Guest Star on CBS’s Elsbeth
Beanie Feldstein and Griffin Dunne will join the cast of CBS’s Elsbeth for its upcoming third season, which is set to premiere new episodes on Thursday nights, starting February 26.
Elsbeth, which follows the character Elsbeth Tascioni (played by Carrie Preston), features her as a clever yet unconventional consent decree attorney collaborating with the NYPD to tackle high-profile murder cases. The cast also includes Wendell Pierce as Captain Charles Wallace (C.W.) Wagner.
Feldstein will make her appearance in Episode 315 as Rachel, a friend known for organizing significant events for others, from baby showers to weddings. However, when it comes time to celebrate her own special day, she discovers her closest ally is absent, leading to a dramatic turn of events.
Dunne will appear in Episode 316 as Elliott, a renowned novelist with a fragile ego. His character faces dire consequences when a childhood acquaintance critiques his latest book.
Produced by CBS Studios, Elsbeth is executive produced by Robert King, Michelle King, showrunner Jonathan Tolins, and others. The Kings are also the creators of the series.
Feldstein recently wrapped filming on Focker In-Law, the fourth installment of the Meet the Parents franchise. She has made recent appearances in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building as Althea and has previously portrayed Monica Lewinsky in Impeachment: American Crime Story. Her filmography also includes notable projects like Drive-Away Dolls, Booksmart, and Lady Bird.
Dunne is celebrated for his roles in An American Werewolf in London and After Hours. He will soon appear in Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing alongside Austin Butler and Zoe Kravitz, with a rich history of television roles in series like The Girls on the Bus and This Is Us. In addition to acting, Dunne directed films such as Addicted to Love and the Netflix documentary The Center Will Not Hold, which centered on his aunt, Joan Didion. His memoir, “The Friday Afternoon Club: A Family Memoir,” is set to be released in June 2024 and has been designated as a New York Times Best Seller.
